Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing in Colorado is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver overnight Trauma and Acute Care Surgery coverage (7 PM–7 AM). The role requires board certification (ANCC or AANP), CO license, active DEA, BLS, and at least 2 years in General Surgery.

You will assess patients, order and interpret diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing management.

Qualifications

• Board certified (ANCC or AANP)
• CO license
• DEA active
• Clean Record/NPDB
• BLS certification
• 2 years experience in General Surgery
• No sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P-7A).
• Perform assessments, order/interprete diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
• Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
