Job summary

77 Consultants is seeking a Physician Assistant for overnight trauma coverage in Loveland, Colorado. The PA will provide comprehensive trauma and acute care services during 12-hour night shifts and support operative and resuscitation efforts while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required: Master’s degree in PA Studies from an accredited program, NCCPA certification, Colorado PA license, DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider eligibility, and BLS.

**Job Description:**

The Physician Assistant (PA) will provide comprehensive trauma and acute care surgical services during overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing trauma admissions, emergency general surgery cases, and facilitating inpatient care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations, formulating care plans, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Assisting trauma surgeons with various procedures, including resuscitation and operative support.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensuring meticulous documentation and clinical workflows in Epic EMR.
• Practicing autonomously while effectively prioritizing and managing multiple complex tasks.
• Contributing to the ongoing quality, safety, and performance metrics of the Trauma Surgery service.
• Actively engaging in professional development and potential leadership opportunities.

**Shift Description:**

• 12-hour overnight shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

**Qualifications:**

• - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master’s degree in PA Studies

• - Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days and active)
• – **REQUIRED** (no exemptions; required at the time of presentation)
• - Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado

• - Eligibility for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
• – **REQUIRED**
• - Clean malpractice and license history
• – **HIGHLY PREFERRED**
• - Absence of sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
