Job summary
Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Trauma and General Surgery team. This 1.0 FTE role covers 10-hour evening/night shifts Monday through Thursday and 13-hour Friday to Sunday, with 7 on/7 off overnight options and every-other weekend; mostly hospital based care with no clinic.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant program completed.
- Licensed Physician Assistant or NP in MN upon hire.
- ACLS-BLS Tier 2 certification required within 180 days.
- NCCPA PA certification or equivalent NP certification upon hire.
- 3 years trauma care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical care for patients in trauma and general surgery.
- Completes comprehensive patient assessments and determines diagnosis.
- Orders and interprets diagnostics with attending physician; prescribes meds and therapies.
- Educates patients and coordinates referrals to specialty care as needed.
