Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for overnight coverage in pediatric general surgery and trauma. The ideal candidate is an acute care provider with pediatrics focus and inpatient pediatric experience, with strong communication skills and flexibility. A PA-C is required.

• Prior inpatient pediatric experience is required.
• Detail oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work night coverage and adapt to evolving team needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight coverage for pediatric general surgery and trauma teams.
• Enter orders and follow through on day plans with the team.
• Serve as primary contact for nursing and family questions.
• Assist with writing notes, facilitate discharges, see consults and admit cases.
