Job summary

Sysco Detroit (The Sygma Network, Inc) is seeking a qualified Delivery Driver to transport products from the warehouse to customer locations safely and efficiently. You will load/unload, verify invoices, and ensure on-time deliveries across assigned routes within our network.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and English language proficiency. Overnight, weekend shifts, and extensive driving are common requirements for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer locations on assigned routes.
• Unloads product by hand or cart and places it in designated storage per guidelines.
• Completes all required paperwork (logs, inspections, invoices) accurately and timely.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Maintains equipment and communicates route or loading issues to management.
• Works flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
