Job summary

Sysco Detroit (The Sygma Network, Inc) seeks a delivery driver to transport products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring accurate deliveries and proper unloading. You will maintain safety protocols and complete required paperwork to meet company standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and English proficiency; 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience is preferred. Regular route work may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer location and delivers on time per route.
• Unloads product from trailer by hand or with a hand cart; scans delivery into store per company standards.
• Picks up, loads and unloads damaged goods and customer returns; transports product back to the SYGMA warehouse.
• Ensures all paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices) is completed accurately and submitted on time.
