Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety across departments. You will deep clean processing areas, manage chemical handling documentation, and ensure food safety by following SOPs.

The role requires strong teamwork and the ability to work late evenings and overnight. You will assist customers, support sanitation tasks, and coordinate with Store Leaders to improve sanitation processes.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S.
• At least 1 year in maintenance/sanitation
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Willing to work late evenings and overnight

Responsibilities

• Maintains department cleanliness and safety with urgency
• Deep cleans and disinfects processing areas and equipment
• Keeps documentation for chemical handling and sanitation checks
• Uses cleaning tools and follows safety SOPs
• Communicates maintenance needs to Store Leaders
• Assists customers and performs Total Store Sanitation Rep duties when needed
