You will deep clean processing areas, handle chemicals safely, document certifications, assist customers, and support store leaders by identifying sanitation needs and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• 1+ year experience in maintenance/sanitation.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines.
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of product handling and food prep processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work late/evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department cleanliness and safety with urgency and prioritization.
• Deep clean and disinfect processing areas, equipment, fixtures, floors, and drains.
• Document chemical handling and sanitation verification certifications.
• Operate cleaning tools and follow the H-E-B chemical program.
• Identify insect/rodent issues and place pest control traps as needed.
• Assist customers and support store leaders with sanitation tasks.
