H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety across departments. You will perform sanitation tasks, manage chemical handling per program, and support store operations while communicating needs to leadership.

The role includes deep cleaning, documentation, and support for customers. Candidates should have 1+ year in maintenance or sanitation, 18+ years old, and knowledge of OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• 1+ year of maintenance/sanitation experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of product handling, and food preparation processes.
• Ability to operate department sanitation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department cleanliness and safety with urgency and prioritization.
• Deep clean and disinfect processing areas, equipment, fixtures, coolers, floors and drains.
• Properly handle, store and apply cleaning chemicals as per program.
• Maintain documentation and certification for chemical handling and sanitation verification.
• Communicate maintenance needs and improvements to Store Leaders.
• Assist customers and help locate products as needed.
