Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Leader in Salem, NH to guide and develop store teams, optimize operations, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will supervise budgeting, staffing, and merchandizing, ensuring compliance with company policies and a culture of belonging.

Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, and evaluating hourly associates, implementing action plans to improve performance, and aligning store initiatives with company direction and community needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience with 1 year supervisory experience.
• For facilities selling firearms, CBC and training may be required; associates may need state-specific certificates.
• Attends and completes required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door trainings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store teams through training, feedback, and coaching to improve store operations and customer service.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and merchandising for sales growth and shrink reduction.
• Ensure compliant, ethical operations and promote a culture of belonging and integrity.
