Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and listening to associates, touring stores, and giving feedback.
• Drives store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Manages merchandising, inventory flow, and customer service initiatives to meet sales and shrink targets.
• Oversees hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting a sense of belonging.
• Ensures compliance with policies, Open Door Policy, and Walmart values across operations.
