Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked, backroom waste is managed, and shelves are ready for customers. You will work overnight to prepare the store for daily operations and support leadership with timely completion of tasks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficient stocking, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment while providing friendly customer interactions when needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
