Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to keep our shelves stocked and ready for customers. You’ll gain product knowledge, deliver friendly service, and support merchandising tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, keep back rooms tidy, and work with leadership to complete areas on time. Overnight shifts are required to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Ability to use basic technology.
• Efficient, organized work style.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Pallet jack or forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
