Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked with grocery items and maintain a clean, organized store environment. You will move products from pallets to shelves, assist with backroom organization, and collaborate with leadership to meet timelines. Overnight shifts help ensure readiness for the day’s operations.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using basic technology
• Able to follow processes in an organized way
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a supportive attitude
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
