Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of food and grocery items, moving products from pallets to shelves and keeping back-rooms organized.

You will work closely with leadership to complete assigned areas on time, while maintaining a clean, safe environment and helping customers when needed. You’ll participate in overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Maintain organized, clean back rooms and front shelves.
• Follow safety and store procedures while working with merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a safe, friendly store environment and assist customers when needed.
