Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked for customers, while delivering friendly service and efficient merchandising. You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage backstock, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced retail setting, including occasional overnight shifts to prepare for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Entry level position focused on stocking and customer service.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
