Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and organized. This entry-level role focuses on delivering great customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting merchandising tasks.

You will stock shelves, move products to correct locations, and work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn basic technology and follow store procedures.
• Strong organization and efficiency in tasks.
• Ability to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player mentality and support for shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets/carts to shelves accurately and efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backrooms.
• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment and provide friendly interactions.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
