Job summary

Meijer is hiring an entry level Stocking Clerk to join our store team. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and ensure backstock is organized and disposed of properly. You will interact with leaders to complete tasks on schedule and contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment.

This role includes overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. You should be comfortable using basic technology, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and a team player who takes pride in

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
