Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and organized overnight. You will move stock from pallets to shelves, follow location codes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with basic technology, follow processes, and work well in a team. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs; forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Starting at $16.45/hour!! Plus, $1 premium between the hours of 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
