Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes in Michigan is seeking a Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service. This entry level role covers various retail tasks in product, service and merchandising, including overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, keep backrooms organized, and work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Comfort with basic technology and following processes.
• Strong organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support shared goals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do
