Job summary

H.E.B. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Night Stocker Supervisor to lead overnight stockers and oversee ordering, receiving, and stocking during the night shift.

You will coordinate with the Grocery Manager to meet nightly goals and ensure accurate stock, rotation, and merchandising standards. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of supervisory experience, 3-6 months stocking experience, and strong decision-making and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of prior supervisory experience - Preferred
• Night crew leadership experience - Preferred
• 3-6 months stocking experience - Required
• Ability to make sound decisions independently - Required
• Customer service experience - Preferred
• Proven experience proactively communicating with indirect teams and/or teams that work different hours or remotely - Required
• Prior Forklift/Powerjack experience - Required

Responsibilities

• Review nightly goals with Grocery Manager.
• Place accurate orders and manage stockouts and proper rotation of product.
• Execute the nightly stocking standards and merchandising for night shift.
• Report problems to the Grocery Manager.
• Communicate overnight schedule changes and attendance issues.
• Train Night Stockers on procedures and stocking productivity.
• Supervise and coach Partners to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain backroom organization overnight, including receiving area.
• Prepare staging areas for new deliveries and assist unloading.
• Present merchandise per established practices with proper pricing and signage.
• Adhere to POG during stocking.
• Report equipment issues to Overnight Operations Manager.
• May back up in absence of Overnight Operations Manager.
