Job summary

H-E-B is seeking an Overnight Night Stocker Lead to supervise the night crew and oversee the ordering, receiving and stocking of products during the overnight hours. You will work closely with the Grocery Manager to meet nightly goals and ensure stock integrity.

Responsibilities include communicating issues, training staff on procedures, maintaining backroom organization, and ensuring pallets, equipment and signage meet company standards. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of prior supervisory experience
• 3-6 months stocking experience - Required
• Experience making sound decisions independently in any situation or circumstance
• Previous Customer Service experience - Preferred
• Proven experience proactively communicating with indirect teams and/or teams that work different hours or remotely
• Prior Forklift/Powerjack experience

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight Night Stockers and oversee ordering, receiving and stocking during overnight hours
• Communicate nightly goals with Grocery Manager
• Ensure proper stocking standards and merchandising for the night shift
• Report and record problems to the Grocery Manager
• Train Night Stockers on procedures and productivity standards
• Maintain backroom organization and assist with unloading trucks as needed
