Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will assist in compounding, IV medication preparation, inventory, and maintaining pharmacy standards under supervision.

The ideal candidate has IV medication experience, PTCB certification preferred, and reliable, detail-oriented skills with data entry experience; night shift 7:00pm-3:30am with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• IV Medication experience required.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervisor direction and perform general cleaning and maintenance as directed.
• Assist in setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounding sterile solutions.
• Mix and package IV medications.
• Periodically participate in pharmacy inventory.
• Rotate stock to assure quality controls.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with team to support pharmacy goals.
• Complete any other task assigned by supervisor.
