Job summary

SpecialtyRx, a Long-Term Care pharmacy, is seeking a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician for a 2:30pm–11:00pm shift. The role involves preparing non-sterile drugs, packaging, and coordinating with the team to support pharmacy operations.

Experience with non-sterile products and data entry is valued; IV experience and PTBC are preferences. The candidate should be reliable and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining safety and policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician is required.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Previous IV pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Experience working with non-sterile drugs and packaging.
• Assist in setup of non-sterile equipment and supplies for preparation.
• Mix and package non-sterile medications.
• Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Maintain pharmacy standards and adhere to policies.

Our Company:

Responsibilities:

• Experience working non-sterile drugs.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Assist in setup of the non-sterile, equipment and supplies for preparation of non-sterile solutions.
• Mixed and package non-sterile medications.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Package fill and ship medications
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Complete any other task assigned by the Floor Manager & Pharmacist In Charge.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• PTCB certified preferred.
• Previous IV pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Shift:

• 2:30pm-11:00pm.
