Job summary

The Vet Service seeks an experienced Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to provide overnight emergency care in a well-equipped facility. This full-time role emphasizes greater case ownership, independent decision-making, and solid technician and specialist support.

Structured overnight blocks, access to advanced imaging, labs, and a dedicated emergency surgical suite support daily work. DVM/VMD, state licensure, and DEA registration are required, with at least one year of ER experience.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree with active state license and DEA registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency/veterinary ER experience.
• Wamiliarity with overnight emergency care and decision-making under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight emergency veterinary care in a fast-paced setting.
• Manage a diverse overnight emergency caseload with clinician and technician support.
• Utilize imaging and in-house diagnostics to guide treatment and decisions.
