Job summary

Michigan Medicine Sleep Lab is seeking an Overnight Polysomnographic Technologist to perform sleep studies, calibrate and monitor equipment, and explain procedures to patients. You will score PSGs and generate reports, applying safety practices for both adults and pediatrics.

The role requires BRPT registration or enrollment in an accredited program, High School diploma, and BLS. Travel between sites may occur, with a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BRPT registration is required and must be maintained with CEUs.
• High school graduation or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Enrollment or completion of an accredited polysomnography program is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Overnight testing procedures and reviewing patient records.
• Explain test procedures to patients and calibrate equipment.
• Score polysomnograms and generate a data-driven report.
• Independently perform specialty sleep studies as needed.
• Maintain safety and operate monitoring equipment during sleep studies.
• Travel between Brighton and Ann Arbor locations as required.

Polysomnographic Technologist Registered BRPT
