Job summary

A healthcare organization in Michigan is seeking a Sleep Technologist responsible for providing patient care and technical support for Polysomnographic testing. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and must be BLS certified. This position requires developing skills in equipment calibration, patient monitoring, and scoring sleep stages using accepted standards. The role includes a commitment to MyMichigan for at least a year after training and obtaining the RPSGT certification.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • 1 year of service to MyMichigan upon completion of training.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and calibrate monitoring equipment for Polysomnographic testing.
  • Perform physiological calibration and monitoring of patients.
  • Develop skills in scoring sleep/wake stages using AASM standards.
