Job summary

YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is seeking a part of a team to oversee the Transitional Living Center and Rapid Rehousing operations. You will monitor security, enforce building rules, and assist residents during various shifts, including overnights and weekends.

The role is grant funded with continuation dependent on funds. Role requires high school diploma or GED, 6 months customer service experience, and CPR/First Aid certification prior to start.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of customer services experience required; high school diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to work overtime, nights, on call, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work with low-income, multi-ethnic clientele and children.
• Knowledge of domestic violence, drugs/alcohol, and related issues.
• CPR and First Aid certification required before start; maintain during employment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; willing to learn homeless database input.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Transitional Living Center (TLC) and Rapid Rehousing (RRH) operations.
• Monitors TLC/RRH security and safety 24/7; enforces building rules and procedures.
• Calls law enforcement for security sences and safety rounds as needed.
• Performs bed checks and room inspections; assists residents as needed.
• Maintains administrative paperwork for shift operations and issues.
• Aids in donor acknowledgement and sorting/organizing donations.
