Job summary

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries seeks a full-time security staff member for the City Light Women’s Shelter in Boise. Shifts are mainly 9:00PM to 4:00AM, five days a week, with a focus on safety checks and dorm oversight.

The role involves monitoring, handling incidents, coordinating with senior staff, and occasionally covering other facilities and events. A high school diploma and church affiliation are required.

Qualifications

• Capable of operating Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Monitoring activity inside and outside of the facilities and neighboring properties to help prevent injury to people and damage to property.
• Assisting in emergency situations, reporting incidents and accidents, including downloading and saving relevant camera footage, and giving statements to emergency responders as needed.
• May occasionally be called to work at other facilities and Mission events as needed.
