Crisis Line & Safe House Of Central Georgia, Inc. is seeking a Shelter Family Advocate to lead the midnight shift and ensure safe, smooth shelter operations overnight. You will manage intake, donations, and client documentation, while delivering crisis support with discretion and compassion.

This full-time position requires independent work, strong organizational skills, and adherence to shelter policies. CPR/First Aid training and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Background in victim advocacy.
• Understanding of domestic violence dynamics.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to utilize community and in-house resources.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Willing to submit to random drug screenings.
• Willing to adhere to shelter policies and procedures.
• Shares on-call duty as directed by Shelter Manager.

Responsibilities

• Overnight shift leadership to maintain shelter operations.
• Provide crisis counseling and referrals as needed.
• Complete intake and document client files daily.
• Record and manage donations and shelter materials.
• Maintain confidential client files and statistics.
• Respond to crisis calls during midnight shift.
