Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in recovery/human services preferred.
• Minimum one year in recovery services/human services.
• Experience with individuals at varying stages of recovery and mental health.
• Experience deescalating conflict.
• Proficient with office equipment and computers.
• MS Office familiarity preferred.
• Background check clearance required.
• Valid California driver’s license with clean MVR considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility safety; conduct regular security checks.
• Reinforce policies for clients living in the facility.
• Complete and maintain incident reports as directed.
• Screen incoming calls and provide appropriate referrals.
• Assist guests and residents as needed.
• Maintain daily activity log and document duties.
• Assist with intake/interviews and update resident data.
• Provide feedback to staff on resident wellbeing and progress.
• Oversee house duties and ensure supplies and meals are provided.
• Maintain cleanliness and prepare rooms for new residents.
• Store facility supplies properly and securely.
• Conduct screenings for substance use and report welfare issues.
• Coordinate information transfer to the Case Manager.
• Provide transportation to residents when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Maintain safe boundaries with participants and staff.
• Perform other duties within San Bernardino area administration.
