• Well-groomed with ability to follow dress requirements.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• General understanding of seniors' needs.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to a philosophy that supports residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality.
• Reviews resident Service Plans to understand needs and preferences.
• Reviews Staff Communications log and Service Notes daily for changes.
• Provides personal services to residents per Service Plans.
• Assists with medications and treatments as indicated and allowed by regulation.
• Responds to calls from the emergency system promptly.
• Follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment with housekeeping support as needed.
• Supports residents in individual and group activities and encourages participation.
• Monitors changes in resident needs and reports/document changes per procedures.
• Responds to emergencies as trained.
• Reports any abuse or suspected abuse to supervisor/agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
