Job summary

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to guard the property, assist guests, and maintain a safe, secure environment during night hours.

You will patrol hotel grounds, monitor cameras, control access, respond to emergencies, and document incidents. The role demands strong observation, clear reporting, and professional interaction with guests and staff. CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and document security observations clearly.
• Basic computer skills including email and incident reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel buildings, parking areas, and grounds during overnight hours.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents and ensure guest safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms or disturbances.
• Respond to emergencies, complete DARs/incident reports accurately.
