Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Inspection Overnight in Lima, OH. You will provide unarmed patrols at a manufacturing facility, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver courteous customer service while enforcing site policies.

You will report observations, respond to incidents, complete activity reports, and collaborate with site leadership to deter security-related incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal history considered under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access by checking credentials, maintaining visitor records, and reporting access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations to leadership and site contacts.
