Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Overnights in Waterloo, IA to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will drive patrols, maintain a visible presence, assist with access control, and deliver excellent customer service throughout your shift.

The role emphasizes routine patrols, incident response, and clear reporting to leadership. A valid driver’s license, background check, and drug screening per policy are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license as per policy requirements.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Must be at least 19 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations to leadership and site management.
