Job summary

Allied Universal, Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Checkpoint Coverage to safeguard clients across industries. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access, and respond to alarms.

Schedule includes Friday night and weekend shifts. Minimum requirements include a valid driver's license, HS diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening as part of employment. Allied Universal offers training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe personnel and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
