Job summary

Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer for overnight shifts (10:00 pm–6:00 am, Fri and Sat, plus holidays). The role focuses on patrolling, monitoring surveillance, access control, and emergency response to keep members, guests, and staff safe.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, security experience preferred, CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred but training available, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Previous service in the US Armed Forces; local police desirable.
• Security experience is preferred.
• Certification in basic CPR, AED and First Aid preferred but will train if necessary.
• 18 years of age or older and possess valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club.
• Maintain gate control and entry credentials.
• Maintain an accurate log of authorized visitors and suspicious activity.
• Answer night communications and assist as required.
• Execute emergency procedures and notify authorities as needed.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate with security leadership during emergencies.
• Administer CPR and First Aid if necessary.
• Patrol parking and document unauthorized vehicles.
• Record deficiencies in security measures in nightly reports.
• Inspect clubhouse, grounds, and facilities as required.
• Ensure doors are locked per club policy and monitor walk-in coolers.
