Job summary

Capital City Country Club in Brookhaven, GA is seeking a full-time Security Guard to maintain a peaceful and safe environment for members, guests, and staff. The role includes greeting guests, patrolling multiple club areas, enforcing safety rules, and assisting in emergencies.

Shift is typically 4:30am–1:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential duties as assigned. The position requires reliable, friendly, informative service and current CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Maintains peace and safety for members, guests, and staff.
• Clear, respectful communication with club guests.
• Arrives on time and adheres to shift schedule.
• Greeting and information duties to assist members.
• Physically capable of standing and patrolling large areas.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at the front gate politely, using names when possible.
• Provide information on daily functions and locations within the Club.
• Patrol parking lots and prevent unauthorized access.
• Patrol all Club areas including employee spaces, golf course, and lake.
• Enforce Club rules on driving, behavior, and parking; address violations.
• Assist management in enforcing rules and documenting incidents.
• Assist in emergency procedures and direct vehicles and people to safety.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate timely actions.
• Maintain and fuel the security cart; ensure readiness.
• Write daily security and incident reports; communicate priorities to Chief Engineer.
• Safeguard and properly use tools and equipment provided by the Club.
• Maintain CPR/AED certifications current.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
