Job summary

Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to ensure safety and security for guests and staff. The role involves patrols, emergency response, and detailed reporting within a luxury hotel environment in downtown Atlanta.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, maintaining property integrity, and supporting Loss Prevention initiatives. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Must communicate effectively by telephone, email, radio and reporting.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet minimum MVR requirements.
• First Aid/CPR Certification is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform property patrols observing, reporting, and correcting safety and security deficiencies.
• Respond to all emergency calls, following established emergency procedures.
• Respond to complaints and requests for assistance in accordance with departmental and corporate policies; provide assistance as necessary and coordinate with outside agencies.
• Provide thorough written reports of incidents and actions taken during shifts.
• Maintain lost and found integrity and secure released property per hotel policy and law.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and actions as required.
• Conduct initial investigations and follow-ups to complaints, accidents, and incidents.
• Support Loss Prevention leadership to develop and manage safety programs.
• Maintain knowledge of and compliance with all resort policies and procedures.
• Monitor investigations and document incidents in the database; assist with training and daily operations.
