Job summary

Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, MD, part of Churchill Downs Incorporated, is seeking security personnel for the overnight shift (10 PM–6 AM). The position pays $16 per hour and offers a full-time, year-round role with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, paid sick leave, vacation, personal time, holiday pay and 401k options.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, enforcing regulations, and delivering excellent guest service while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required and must meet company policy.
• Ability to read, write, speak English sufficiently to perform functions.
• Ability to understand and follow directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vigilance to ensure guest, employee and property safety.
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
• Enforce and adhere to Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and company Policies & Procedures.
• Enforce security procedures at all posts.
• Assist in the transfer of monies between areas.
• Patrol grounds in security vehicle as assigned.
• Promote outstanding customer relations.
• Promote honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
