Thompson Houston is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests and staff within a luxury hotel setting. The role entails monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and maintaining security protocols across a 36-story property renowned for its Buffalo Bayou Park location and world-class amenities.

Ideal candidates bring a proactive security mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure a secure, seamless guest

• Previous Security experience preferred.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.
