Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Security Officer for overnight coverage in Phoenix. The role focuses on theft deterrence, incident response, and safeguarding facilities, staff, and customers.

Daily duties include monitoring CCTV, controlling access, and coordinating with emergency services as needed. The position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual skills helpful but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitors security events and responds to incidents in a timely manner.
• Controls access to the facility and issues staff/visitor badges.
• Performs live video surveillance to detect theft and security issues.
• Prepares accurate daily reports on security and safety incidents.
• Coordinates with emergency services and evacuations as needed.
• Maintains documentation of incidents with photos, reports, and logs.
• Monitors alarms, CCTV, and remote monitoring systems.
• Collaborates with departments to integrate security measures into operations.
