Job summary

Stonebridge in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking an Overnight Security Guard to patrol hotel premises, protect assets, and enforce security protocols during overnight hours.

Friday and Saturday 11:00pm-7:00am shifts; reports to Chief Engineer. Requires valid driver's license and CPR certification; prior security experience preferred. Part-time hourly position with compensation of $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect hotel assets through patrols and security checks.
• Collaborate with department heads to enhance preventative and responsive security measures.
• Assist in executing emergency procedures and ensure guest and associate safety.
• Follow and document proper patrol procedures for property inspections.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure secure handling of hotel deliveries.
• Monitor and report violations of cash handling procedures to the General Manager and management.
• Investigate and document any loss of hotel assets, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Control access to public, storage, and associate areas, including locker rooms.
• Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and inoperative safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and events occurring during the shift.

Job Summary

This is an overnight position with Friday and Saturday 11:00pm-7:00am shifts. The Security Guard is responsible for patrolling hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of associates, guests, and hotel property. This role involves monitoring hotel assets, assisting with emergency procedures, and enforcing security protocols to maintain a secure environment.

Work Environment

• Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
