Job summary

Wesley Willows Corporation in Rockford, IL is seeking a dedicated Security professional for an overnight, full-time role from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. You will monitor alarms, perform safety checks, and respond to emergencies to safeguard residents and the campus.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and provides benefits and opportunities to contribute to a caring community. Shift includes a $2 differential on top of the base hourly rate.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• One year of general building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Good mobility to perform security checks across buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to building and campus alarm systems, including resident medical emergencies.
• Conduct temperature checks in boiler rooms and kitchens to ensure safe operation.
• Remove resident trash and manage waste in hallways and bins each shift.
• Patrol campus, check for open doors, unlit lights, and suspicious persons or vehicles; take appropriate action.
• Support resident relations by addressing concerns and assisting the Facilities Supervisor on special projects.
• Complete maintenance work orders and other tasks as requested.
