Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time role based in Lake Forest, IL. Expect the 3rd/overnight shift with competitive pay and comprehensive training.

Primary duties include access control, patrols, and maintaining a safe environment while engaging with clients in a professional manner. You will be responsible for addressing incidents, preparing clear reports, and working as part of a team to meet daily site objectives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client's premises, potentially in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
