Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radios/monitors and communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions affecting safety or security.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities in emergencies.
• Warn violators and control access to properties.
• Monitor entrances and monitor authorized removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and maintain post logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site orders.
