Job summary

Allied Universal, Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Credential Validation to protect residents and property. You will manage entry points, greet residents and visitors, verify access, and maintain a visible security presence while driving a patrol vehicle. This role requires a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay is $19.00 per hour. Shifts are overnight: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, Sun 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, document access activity, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
