Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Credential Validation in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential location, you will help manage entry points, greet residents and visitors, verify access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, document access activity, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
