Job summary

Castle Hot Springs is seeking an Overnight Security Officer to ensure the safety of guests, staff and property on property and during night operations. You will support other departments, assist in safety training, and help uphold security policies while maintaining the resort’s high service standards.

The role requires reliability, clear English communication, and at least one year in resort security or a similar field.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in the English Language.
• Must possess the ability to follow instructions.
• At least 1 year in resort security or acceptable similar field(s).
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work scheduled assignments.
• Must possess at least basic proficiency with Windows-based computer systems (Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, standards, and directives.
• Responds to incidents and investigate and resolve security-related issues.
• Participates in the development of departmental goals and objectives; recommends, implements, and administers policies and procedures to enhance operations.
• Provides security patrol coverage as part of the security officer team.
• Assists in key control for all property staff.
• Must adhere to practices of occupational safety and health including wearing personal protective equipment when required.
• Patrol hotel premises to maintain order, enforce rules and regulations, and ensure observance of applicable laws.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Rooms.

This position is full-time with 3 10-hours shifts.

Position Summary:

The Overnight Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees, and their property. This includes supporting other department activities to help ensure the highest levels of guest and employee service. The Security Officer will also help guide and support the administration of, and training on, safety and security functions for the other security officer and the employees.
