Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, floors, walls, racks, docks, and operational areas.
  • Follow sanitation schedules, SOPs, SSOPs, and food safety requirements.
  • Safely handle, mix, and prepare cleaning chemicals per procedures and safety standards.
  • Operate sanitation equipment such as scrubbers, power washers, hoses, vacuums, and cleaning tools.
  • Maintain sanitation logs and required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Remove trash, debris, spills, and other waste to keep the facility clean and organized.
  • Support GMP, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory sanitation compliance.
  • Inspect areas and report sanitation or safety concerns to leadership.
  • Ensure tools and supplies are stored properly and in good condition.
  • Use PPE and follow workplace safety guidelines.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and operational readiness preparations.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and warehouse teams to uphold sanitation.

  • Remove trash, debris, spills, and other waste materials to maintain a clean and organized facility.
  • Support compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and regulatory sanitation requirements.
  • Inspect work areas to identify sanitation concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Ensure cleaning tools, equipment, and sanitation supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Utilize required PPE and follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist with facility preparation for audits, inspections, and operational readiness.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, quality, and warehouse teams to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
  • Perform additional sanitation and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment, supplies, and materials within company established guidelines, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated, freezer, wet, humid, or varying temperature environments.
  • Ability to safely use sanitation equipment and cleaning chemicals as trained.

Work Environment

This position operates within warehouse, production, and distribution environments that may include refrigerated, freezer, wet, and fast-paced operational conditions. Associates may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, moving equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels.
